EatLocal: This is almost like one of those “if you have to ask…” ideas, except that if you do have to ask, you’re going to be in trouble. You choose your state & month and all it does is give you a list of what’s in season. Only problem is that right now for NY tomatoes are on the list. As much as everyone WANTS tomatoes now, the fact is that tomatoes are never good in NY until August.
If you accept the list of what’s available and click on a category, the app cleverly (I’m being sarcastic here) takes you to Wikipedia.
